MPha Joins in State Action Institute on HIV PrEP
This week, MPhA (Aliyah Horton and Richard DeBenedetto) was excited to join other national and state HIV and equality organizations, pharmacy leaders, and industry allies to participate in a State Action Institute.

The event, convened by the Elton John AIDS Foundation, American Pharmacists Association, Avita Pharmacy, NASTAD, and Courage Forward Strategies, focused on expanding access to HIV prevention services and linkage to care through community pharmacies. Representatives from several states shared lessons from their experiences. While HIV and pharmacy leaders from Alabama, Maryland, New Jersey, and Louisiana crafted a vision for how they can strengthen partnerships and expanding access to HIV PrEP and PEP in communities.
We look forward to continuing to collaborate with partners to accelerate efforts to meet the U.S. goal to end the HIV epidemic by 2030.
