Maryland Board of Pharmacy: Call for Independent Pharmacist Applications – Rolling Nominations
** Still seeking applicants for the independent pharmacy seat. Applications will remain open until nominations are filled.
The Maryland Board of Pharmacy will have two vacancies in 2025 – At-Large Member and another for an Independent Pharmacist Member. The role of the Board of Pharmacy is to:
- protect consumers and promote quality pharmacy health care through licensing pharmacists
- registering pharmacy technicians and issuing permits to pharmacies and pharmacy distributors.
- setting standards through regulations and legislation
- educating consumers; and
- investigating and resolving complaints.
Qualifications:
(1) Be skilled and competent in practicing pharmacy; and
(2) Have at least 5 years of active pharmacy practice
- At-Large Seat is open for any pharmacist
- Independent Seat must have independent pharmacy experience.
